Amid search for defender, Chelsea have called back Trevoh Chalobah from his loan spell at Crystal Palace.
Chelsea activated their clause in recent hours after they were unable to sign a defender to replace Fofana and Badshielle who are out of the season via serious hamstring injuries.
With Disasi keen on exiting Chelsea this January, Chelsea have recalled loaned player Chalobah with immediate effect.
The decision was made on Tuesday before the deadline of using the activated clause, following his improved performance during Crystal Palace’s 1-0 triumph against Stockport County in the third round of FA Cup.

Upon his return, Crystal Palace manager described the situation as contractual issue while disclosing that Trevoh Chalobah showed interest in staying with them but Chelsea had the upper hand.
He has been pledged with playing time after discussing with Chelsea director Paul Winstanley.
Trevoh Chalobah was outlined Chelsea’s unwanted players alongside Raheem Sterling and Ben Chillwell as of the last transfer window, and was loaned to Crystal Palace where he appeared in 14 matches scoring 3 goals. His incredible performances attracted back the club who once sidelined him for sale. Perhaps, his future is still doubtful as Chelsea may sell him.
